Efficient management structures

LGT Wealth Management is a partnership between the executive partners and the private banking group LGT, owned by the Princely Family of Liechtenstein. LGT has been privately owned by the Princely Family of Liechtenstein for over 90 years and therefore has efficient management and organisational structures. This allows us to make decisions quickly and independently, and to establish a long-term corporate strategy.

Roles and responsibilities within the LGT Group Foundation are defined in a clear corporate governance structure. LGT Group comprises the two business areas of Private Banking and Asset Management (LGT Capital Partners). From the start of 2022, these areas will operate on the market as independent, focused companies with their own supervisory boards and will each be held directly by the Prince of Liechtenstein Foundation. The current Group structure will be dissolved as of December 31, 2021. Until then, H.S.H. Prince Max von und zu Liechtenstein will head up LGT Group in the role of CEO and Olivier de Perregaux will act as CFO.

The Foundation Board is the supervisory body of LGT Group. Its Chairman is H.S.H. Prince Max von und zu Liechtenstein from the beginning of 2021.

The new management structures in the business areas come into force right from the start of 2021:

  • LGT Private Banking is managed by Olivier de Perregaux as CEO. The other members of the Senior Management Board are Heinrich Henckel (Switzerland), Henri W. Leimer (Asia) and Roland Schubert (Liechtenstein), as well as Michael Bürge (CFO), André Lagger (Financial Services) and Stephan Tanner (Front Solutions & Corporate Development).
  • LGT Capital Partners (Asset Management business area) is still headed up by Roberto Paganoni, CEO of LGT Capital Partners since 2001, and his tried-and-tested management team. More information about LGT Capital Partners.
