Your challenge

Business Unit

The Risk Team is responsible for maintaining adequate risk management policies and procedures, including effective procedures for risk assessment which indentify the risks relating to the Firm’s activities, processes and systems.

The Risk Team is responsible for identifying operational risks by means of risk assessments and maintaining the risk register for the whole of LGT Vestra. These risks must be reported to the Compliance and Risk Committee and the Management Board of LGT Vestra LLP.

The local BCM / ORM ensures that the specifications of the BCM directive are implemented in their area of responsibility. The local BCM / ORM also ensures that specific local guidelines are known and implemented. Furthermore, the local BCM / ORM ensures, that all documents are available in writing and that these documents are kept up to date. The BCM / ORM is responsible for coordinating and running BCM tests with central and external units. They are also responsible that the BCM facilities (meeting room, documentation, communication, equipment) are always ready for use by the local crisis management team.

Activities & Responsibilities

  • is appointed by the Head of Risk and repots to the Local Security Officer (LSO).
  • Initiates and coordinates the BIA and the associated tasks creates and maintains a BCM strategy for each LGT entity and location.
  • creates and maintains a BCM Handbook and documentation of the Crisis Management Team
  • performs and coordinates the activities of the Crisis Management Team
  • checks the compliance with the BCM directive and specific local guidelines
  • creates a local BCM report, as required.
  • Ensure that the organisation is compliant against FCA rule and regulations.

Your profile

  • Have professional experience on Business Continuity Management and Op Resilience.
  • have knowledge of the basic ISO standards of IT security and Business Continuity Management
  • have knowledge of the FCA rules on Op Resilience and experience of their practical application.
  • know the business and IT processes involved at the local entity business operations
  • maintain good business connections to local and Group functions, is self-driven and educates him/herself on current security and risk topics
  • have a broad understanding about the local IT landscape (infrastructure, applications, business processes etc.) and is informed by local Security Manager about local IT projects.
