Your challenge

Brief Role Objective:

The role holder will work with the Head of Client Services and the Client Services line managers/teams to drive business, technological and regulatory related improvements across the team. The focus will be on developing strategic plans to support the firms long-term goals. The business manager will work with line managers to identify areas for improvement and implement change to increase efficiency and effectiveness across the teams to meet the needs of a rapidly growing business. The role will not have direct management responsibilities but the role holder will require a blend of leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills to successfully carry out the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical support to the Client Services Team across all aspects of the business
  • Provide support/lead IT Projects as required, be a key driver of change
  • Act as point of contact for new investment services as required
  • Collaborate with wider business areas to identify potential for improving client focused services,  operational efficiency and governance of key areas
  • Build strong working relationships with all key Client Services stakeholders (the Front office, IT, Compliance, Risk etc.)
  • Work with the Client Services line managers to design, develop and continually evolve meaningful management information and KPI’s to help support the management of the business in a changing environment

Your profile

Key Skills and Competancy Requirements:

  • Capability to think critically and plan long term strategies
  • Leadership skills, setting clear vision and fostering a positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Technical Requirements:

  • Competent in all MS Office products - especially Excel
  • Knowledge of FNZ’s Figaro system is desirable
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills

Other skills, competencies and attributes:

  • Wealth Management and/or Financial Services experience gained within an Operations/Front Office support environment
  • Customer focused with a strong desire to understand and satisfy customer needs
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse, understand and provide insight to drive business change
  • Good organisational skills when planning, prioritising and executing initiatives
  • Strong sense of ownership and ability to follow tasks through to completion.
