Your challenge

Brief Role Objective:

  • From a client perspective managing the collection and processing of all US tax related documentation from start to end. This will include the gathering of information, producing/receiving/validating and storage of tax related letters and forms and liaising with both the clients and the investment managers.
  • Strong knowledge of the QI (Qualified Intermediary) regime and the requirements to meet all its objectives.
  • Assist in the completion and submission of the various tax reporting obligations the firm has to report to the relevant tax authorities – these include the timely submission of the following returns: 1042 and 1042-S, FATCA, CRS, Section 18 etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The daily collection and processing of all tax related client documentation
  • Ensure all outstanding documentation is received and correctly completed.
  • Timely and accurate recording of client tax information and posting of events.
  • Close liaison with Client Data on tax related documentation
  • Assist in the production of various Tax Reports when required
  • Ad-hoc projects tax related projects when required

Your profile

Technical Requirements:

  • Minimum three years of securities industry knowledge and previous experience in FATCA, CRS and QI regime.
  • Up to date asset management tax knowledge
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
