Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing

Australia’s Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) regulations are changing, which take effect from late March 2026.

As part of these regulatory changes, there will be some updates to how payments can be made from your Cash Management Account. In practice, this means:

  • Payments must clearly be linked to investment or wealth purposes only (we cannot facilitate payments to personal consumption, business or commercial purposes)
  • Overseas payments will be subject to enhanced sanctions screening and, in some cases, may take longer to process or may not be permitted
  • We may occasionally need to request additional information to support specific transactions

These changes are being introduced across the financial services industry and are designed to strengthen protections against financial crime. Your investment adviser and our team will continue to work closely with you to minimise disruption and ensure your transactions remain as seamless as possible.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss how this may affect your individual circumstances, please contact your investment adviser.
