Alina is a Family Advisory Specialist within LGT Wealth Management Australia’s Family Advisory function focused on family governance, including helping families articulate shared values, clarify decision‑making processes and engage the next generation. Based in Melbourne, she supports the Head of Family Advisory nationally.
Alina brings approximately seven years’ experience in financial services and a prior 10‑year career in the Victorian public sector. Since joining the financial services industry in 2019, she has held client‑facing roles at a boutique wealth management firm and, most recently, as a Senior Analyst at JBWere in Strategic Wealth Advice. Before this, she held senior analyst and adviser roles in the Victorian Government, providing budget and financial reform policy advice to State government leaders including the Premier, Treasurer and Minister for Finance.
A formally qualified governance specialist, Alina holds both the STEP Advanced Certificate in Advising the Family Business and the STEP Advanced Certificate in Family Business Governance and is an FBA Accredited Family Business Advisor. She also holds a Bachelor of Economics/Arts and a Master of Financial Planning.
Outside her role at LGT Wealth Management Australia, Alina supports family advisory, multidisciplinary collaboration and formal mentorship through her involvement with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), including serving on a committee for its mentorship programme and co‑authoring an article in the international STEP Journal.
