With over two decades of experience in the financial services sector, Ben Cooper brings a global perspective and a deep understanding of investment markets to his role as Partner and Investment Adviser at LGT Wealth Management. His career has spanned leading institutions including JP Morgan Chase, Merrill Lynch Investment Management, and BlackRock Investment Management, where he developed a strong foundation in advising high-net-worth clients.
After relocating to Australia in 2010, Ben spent five years at ANZ Trustees, providing tailored investment advice to private clients and not-for-profit organisations. In 2015, he joined Commonwealth Private Bank, where he gained holistic exposure to the full spectrum of private banking services. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills, Ben is a trusted adviser who seeks to add value across all aspects of his clients’ financial lives.
Ben joined LGT Wealth Management in 2025, continuing his commitment to delivering high-quality, client-centric advice. He is passionate about building enduring relationships and helping clients navigate complex financial landscapes with confidence.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Law and Business Management, from the University of Natal in South Africa. He also holds a Diploma in Financial Planning and is currently completing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program. In addition, he is awaiting recognition of prior learning for the completion of a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning from Kaplan.
