With over 30 years of experience in domestic and international banking and capital markets, Ben Lieberman brings a wealth of expertise to his role as Investment Adviser at LGT Wealth Management. His career spans private wealth and institutional banking, with a strong focus on delivering bespoke investment solutions to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and not-for-profit organisations.
Ben joins LGT Wealth Management from Commonwealth Private, where he spent five years in a dual capacity - leading the Victorian practice team and directly advising a portfolio of clients. Prior to that, he spent a decade at ANZ Private, providing wholesale investment advice, and held the role of National Director at Westpac’s Private Wealth Services, where he led a national team of investment directors. His earlier experience includes senior roles at HSBC Private Clients and ANZ Investment Bank, where he worked across primary capital markets, loan syndications, securitisation, and bond originations.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Economics from La Trobe University and is a qualified Financial Planner (AFP, FAAA). He has completed the FASEA exam, the Ethics and Professionalism in Financial Advice course through Kaplan Professional, and holds a Diploma of Financial Planning from Mentor Education.
