Dave has 30 years in financial markets including 16 years at UBS where for 10 years he was managing director and head of Sales Trading. Prior to this, he worked at Merrill Lynch and Burdett, Buckeridge and Young where he commenced his career in 1994. Since leaving UBS in 2018, Dave has consulted across a broad range of activities in financial markets including capital raising for fund managers and private companies as well as being a trusted adviser to a number of family offices and HNW individuals. He has also consulted to some large law firms and appeared as an expert witness in the Federal court for shareholder class actions.
Dave is on the board of the North Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the North Sydney Local Health District and the Kolling research institute based within Royal North Shore Hospital. He is also on the board of Daily Press, a small digital marketing company that specialises in the hospitality sector.
He has a Bachelor of Commerce from UNSW, is a Fellow of FINSIA and a Graduate of The Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Outside of work Dave is a keen golfer (and golfing tourist) and member of The Australian Golf Club (so hit him up for a game). He is also a keen skier, especially when on holidays with his wife and 3 kids.
