In 2016, Jarrod became a founding shareholder of LGT Wealth Management, having worked at UBS Wealth Management for two years, in a top-performing advisory team.
Jarrod works with a diverse range of clients (including family offices, SMSF clients, charities and individuals in Australia and overseas) to build customised portfolio solutions that leverage LGT Wealth Management’s sophisticated global investment capability. Jarrod works closely with LGT Wealth Management’s Chief Investment Office, led by Scott Haslem, to determine the appropriate strategic and tactical asset allocation for his clients, allowing him to spend more time identifying key investment thematics and bottom-up investment ideas, where he focuses particularly on global equities, private equity and venture capital.
Jarrod began his career in finance as a portfolio manager at Leyland Private Asset Management while playing for the Melbourne Rebels as a professional Rugby Union player. Prior to that, he had a successful career with the NRL winning a premiership with the St George Illawarra Dragons. Jarrod has a strong focus on driving team culture and he brings a unique set of qualities to his role. He possesses the discipline and determination to thrive in a results-driven environment, where giving trusted and objective advice is his highest priority.
Jarrod holds a Bachelor of Applied Business, is RG146 compliant and is a Level 1 options trader. In addition to his work as an investment adviser, he supports various charitable organisations, including the Sohn Hearts and Minds Investment Conference, Batting for Change, Sydney Rotary, and serves as a board member for the Sydney University Rugby Club Foundation.
