Kaajal Prasad is Head of Family Advisory at LGT Wealth Management Australia, leading the firm’s work with high net worth and ultra high net worth families on governance, succession and strategic wealth transfer. Based in Melbourne, she focuses on helping families articulate their values and long term objectives, and in structuring their affairs to support effective intergenerational wealth stewardship.
Kaajal joined LGT Wealth Management from KPMG, where she was a partner in the Family and Private Client business. She has more than 18 years’ experience in wealth structuring, family governance and risk management, and has acted as a trusted adviser to HNW and UHNW families as well as not for profit boards. Her work spans succession planning, asset protection, growth strategies for emerging businesses and the design of tailored governance frameworks to support complex family enterprises.
A Chartered Accountant, registered tax agent and qualified lawyer, Kaajal also serves as an independent adviser to several family owned businesses and not for profit organisations. Her combination of technical expertise and practical experience in navigating family dynamics positions her to help Australian families preserve and grow their wealth in a way that reflects their values and long term goals.
