Karen joins LGT Wealth Management after two decades in the financial services sector in a variety of risk, compliance and governance roles, most recently working at Challenger as General Manager, Operational Risk & Compliance - a role that saw her lead the uplift of the enterprise risk framework, implement multiple regulatory reforms and meaningfully contribute to a significant number of enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.
Karen has a history of strong leadership overseeing several large teams of risk professionals and in this capacity has been awarded company recognition for the success of her teams. Outside of work Karen has a 20 year history supporting women’s AFL in Sydney, originally as a player and administrator and more recently as an Auskick coach and on the Steering Committee for the establishment of the inaugural Sydney Swans AFLW program.
She’s also a busy mum of three young boys.
