Richard Campbell’s financial / stock broking career began in 1980 and includes fixed income portfolio management, wealth management, and back office positions in retail advising.
Having spent more than 41 years as a financial adviser, including 26 at UBS Wealth Management, and five years at LGT LGT Wealth Management, Richard has gathered an immense amount of knowledge and skill in all aspects of finance – from domestic and international equities to fixed income and institutional trading. Beyond that, Richard’s combination of work and life experience has instilled in him a unique sense of perspective, and a special ability to get to the heart of his clients’ needs and desires.
At LGT Wealth Management, Richard’s work is supported by Harrison Williams where they service the needs of a diverse range of clients, including family offices, SMSF clients, trusts, charities and foundations and individuals—both within Australia and overseas. With his strong strategic skills, Richard focuses on asset allocation, risk management and portfolio management, including research and stock selection. Richard has a sense of responsibility, and a deep commitment to putting his clients first. He firmly believes that investment advisers need to be innately curious in order to gain a thorough understanding of their clients’ preferences and objectives. He attributes much of his success to his interest in both people and the world at large—and it certainly helps to explain the very strong relationships that Richard has developed with his clients and his associate, Harrison. Whether he is acting in the role of adviser, mentor, collaborator or confidante, Richard strives to maintain enjoyable relationships built on shared agendas, and a high level of integrity, professionalism and care.
