Scott Roberts joined LGT Wealth Management in 2020 as an investment adviser. With over 20 years’ experience in financial markets and banking, he is responsible for managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, which includes family offices and not-for-profit organisations. In working with his clients, Scott seeks to understand their individual goals and aspirations so he can deliver suitable investments across all asset classes. His insights and portfolio construction abilities are valued by his clients, many of whom have large complex financial positions.
Scott started his career at Barclays in London in 2003 then moving back to South Australia to join Westpac Banking Corporation in its Private Banking division, before moving to Commonwealth Private Bank in 2010 to manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients. Scott moved back to Westpac Banking Corporation’s Private Banking division in Sydney to look after its high-net-worth private banking clients.
From 2015 to 2017 Scott was the Chair of the Salvation Army (SA Division) Advisory Board, and from 2012 to 2014 he was a councillor at the City of Prospect in South Australia. Scott holds a Diploma of Financial Planning and is a member of the Tax Practitioners Board and a member of the Stockbrokers and Financial Advisers Association.
