About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our Finance team and support the delivery of accurate and timely payroll services.
In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing across a dynamic workforce of over 400 employees where payroll can involve a range of complexities such as variable incentives, terminations, and regulatory requirements. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accuracy and compliance, while supporting employees and stakeholders with a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
End-to-end payroll processing for a monthly payroll
Manage employee lifecycle activities including new starters, terminations, and payroll changes
Process salary payments, incentives, allowances, and various payroll adjustments
Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, tax, and superannuation requirements
Prepare and lodge STP and payroll tax obligations
Perform payroll reconciliations, including month-end reporting and journals
Respond to payroll queries and provide support to employees and stakeholders
Assist with reporting, audits, and general payroll administration

You are a reliable and organised payroll professional with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
You enjoy working in a role where payroll is not always straightforward and are confident managing complexity while maintaining high standards.
Comprehensive experience managing the full payroll lifecycle
Strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance requirements
Experience managing complex payroll elements (e.g. incentives, terminations, adjustments)
Good Excel skills and confidence working with payroll systems (e.g. ADP, Workday, or similar)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work with a range of stakeholders
Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively
A positive, team-oriented attitude
