Jay joined LGT following the acquisition of abrdn's discretionary investment management business in 2023 and has 15 years of industry experience. Having joined abrdn in 2022, he was as a Senior Client Portfolio Manager, responsible for managing the investments of private clients, trusts and charities. Prior to this, he spent 8 years at GAM Investments; the last 5 as a Client Portfolio Manager.
Jay is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). He also holds the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD), the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and CFA Certificate in ESG Investment. He graduated from the University of Leeds with a BA (Hons) degree in Spanish.
