What sustainability means to LGT

Sustainability

We look ahead and think in terms of generations. We believe it is our duty to make a positive contribution to society and the environment in our role as investors, investment advisers and business owners.

Charitable commitment

Giving back is a key part of our philosophy and we place great emphasis on charity work. We host fundraising events to support our chosen charities and help tackle issues facing society, and also offer employees volunteering opportunities.

Demelza

We are proud to support Demelza, a charity providing specialist care and emotional support for babies, children and young people with serious or terminal conditions and their loved ones. Demelza works with the whole family, offering a number of services in addition to end of life care and bereavement support in hospices and the community.

Partnerships

Achieving success in art or music requires discipline, skill and innovative thinking, values which are important to us. As part of our commitment to society, we provide support to projects and initiatives that reflect these core values.
