James is an Investment Manager based in our Scotland office joining in 2022. He is a CFA Charter holder and manages bespoke investment portfolios for clients; he has five years of experience. Before working in wealth management, James was a helicopter pilot and worked in offshore oil and gas in the North Sea. James graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2008 before flight training and then completed his Master's in Finance and Investment Management at the University of Aberdeen in 2017 with distinction. He has worked in fixed income performance at Abrdn and latterly as an associate director at 7IM. James holds the IMC, CFA UK and is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment
