As we welcome 2026, I am delighted to take on the role as CEO of LGT Wealth Management and to continue building on the strong foundations of this firm. Having joined the Governing Board back in 2021 and LGT Group in 2009, I have witnessed first-hand how LGT’s teams blend global expertise with true personal understanding – fostering lasting relationships that are founded on trust. These principles have always been central to LGT’s success and will remain at the heart of everything we do.

2025 brought both challenges and opportunities. Markets responded to shifting fiscal policy, geopolitical uncertainty and the accelerating influence of artificial intelligence across industries. Throughout the year, our teams have remained dedicated to supporting clients with diligence and care. Alongside this, we have continued to invest in the firm’s development, with a long-term focus.

2026 is anticipated to be a year defined by change and momentum, from evolving geopolitics to advances in technology and productivity.

You can read more about these themes in our 'Outlook 2026' report, published last week, with contributions from our CIO, Sanjay Rijhsinghani – as well as our esteemed colleagues from across the global LGT Group. As the year unfolds, our focus will remain on supporting clients’ long-term goals.

On a personal note, I would like to thank Ben for his excellent collaboration and thoughtful guidance in recent months as we prepared for this transition.

Finally, with thanks for the trust that you place in us, I want to wish you and your families a happy and healthy new year.

Warm regards,
Heinrich Henckel
