Heinrich Henckel, CEO

Heinrich: For us, financial strength is about stability and resilience. Looking after our clients’ wealth is a privilege we do not take for granted. Our strong financial position allows us to take a long-term perspective; we are not driven by short-term outcomes, but by the responsibility of supporting our clients and their families over generations. This includes ongoing investment in the areas that matter most to our clients, such as our investment capabilities, digital innovation and the overall client experience.

Why is resilience so important in the current landscape?

Heinrich: We are seeing a lot of consolidation across the UK market, alongside a more uncertain geopolitical and market backdrop.

Our unique ownership structure – being part of a global private bank and asset management group wholly-owned by a single family – provides us with a strong foundation and truly long-term perspective, as well as continuity and stability for our clients.

Our approach has been to remain consistent in what we stand for. We focus on long-term client relationships built on trust, quality of service and a clear investment philosophy aligned with their goals.

Looking ahead, what are the key priorities for the business this year?

Heinrich: Above all, our focus remains firmly on our clients and the trust they place in us. We approach that responsibility with care and discipline. We continue to embrace digital innovation whilst investing in our people and our investment capabilities. We want clients to feel confident that they have a partner they can rely on, both now and for the future.
